This special event, hosted by Ashland First Baptist Church (221 West Washington Street, Ashland), features Gospel Music Hall of Fame member Danny Funderburk, known for his time with The Cathedrals and the Gaither Homecoming series, along with the family Gospel group Anticipation from Hannibal, Missouri! Saturday, August 23: The Sisters in Christ Ladies Event, "Still We Rise," is happening at Salem Grace Nazarene, 1900 N. Broadway, Salem IL. Sisters in Christ is a faith-based women’s ministry that brings women together for encouragement, connection, and growing deeper in their walk with God—and this year marks a joyful 10-year celebration! The WLUJ Family of Stations and Great News Radio can air your Public Service Announcement -PSA- for your church or other non-profit organization at no charge. This includes special events and activities such as programs, seminars, banquets, concerts, revivals, etc.
We will list and broadcast announcements as time, space, and resources permit. PSAs are included on our website under Community Calendar and broadcast during our PSA on-air rotation as space and time permit. Ideally, information about your activity should reach our office at least two weeks prior to the event.
If your function, meeting, or activity includes ticket purchase for admission and may be perceived as a profit-making enterprise, determinations will need be made on how best to handle your submission.
