November 24, Sunday: Trinity Lutheran Church and School will be hosting a special edition GriefShare Seminar – Surviving the Holidays – on Sunday, November 24th from 1-3p.m. in the school's Parish Hall (515 South MacArthur Blvd, Springfield). Surviving the Holidays Seminar will allow attendees to lend support and acceptance of each other’s grieving process in a safe, loving, and caring environment! There will be a video shown that features advice from people who have faced the holidays after the loss of a loved one, followed by a group discussion. Participants will also receive a Holiday Survival Guide which contains over thirty encouraging readings, helpful charts, and tips tuned toward managing the holiday season. The objective of this GriefShare is to help participants find ways to honor their loved ones while putting themselves on the pathway towards healing and well-being! The WLUJ Family of Stations and Great News Radio can air your Public Service Announcement -PSA- for your church or other non-profit organization at no charge. This includes special events and activities such as programs, seminars, banquets, concerts, revivals, etc.
We will list and broadcast announcements as time, space, and resources permit. PSAs are included on our website under Community Calendar and broadcast during our PSA on-air rotation as space and time permit. Ideally, information about your activity should reach our office at least two weeks prior to the event.
If your function, meeting, or activity includes ticket purchase for admission and may be perceived as a profit-making enterprise, determinations will need be made on how best to handle your submission.
